Dr Blake is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice, the Clinical Director of the Intensive Trauma Treatment Centre, and an adjunct research fellow with the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science. He is a passionate trauma-focused therapist who enjoys combining prolonged exposure, EMDR, and schema therapy on an intensive basis to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr Blake has provided expert witness reports to the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia, the Supreme Court (Queensland, Tasmania), the Magistrate’s Court (Queensland, Tasmania), the Tasmanian Civil and Administration Tribunal (TASCAT), the Queensland Civil and Administration Tribunal (QCAT), the Australian Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT), and Child Safety Services (Tasmania, Queensland). He is approved as an expert witness for the Mental Health Court of Queensland.
Dr Blake is interested in the overlaps between clinical practice and the law. This includes managing requests for confidential client information, responding to subpoenas and other court orders, protecting Copyright test materials, record keeping, and fitness to stand trial.
