About this Training
If you're a practice manager considering whether or not to engage workers in your practice, how you choose to engage your workers will be one of the most important decisions you make. This introductory training canvases the nature of the employment relationship and how that relationship is governed principally by the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). This training will also look in detail at independent contractor relationship and a number of the statutory interventions relating to unfair contracting, superannuation, work cover and payroll tax. Additionally, this training will look at the emerging model of tenant practitioners and some of the pitfalls out of the most recent decisions associated with this model.
