AHPRA has released updated Professional Competencies for Psychology (discussed here) which sets out a refreshed standard for practitioners in relation to use of Artificial Intelligence in practice. The focus of the regulator is on good practices for digital health. Contained in this concept is a number of areas of competencies that practitioners considering reliance on AI in practice software ought to closely consider. 

In this webinar we will take a close look at the new competency (and the guidance material released by AHPRA) and the implications for skills and practices that practitioners ought to consider.

This training is intended to cover a number of necessary consideration prior to use of AI in professional setting by an AHPRA regulated practitioner. This is a high level survey into live topics in the use of AI for health professionals. Future webinars will look closely at ethical issues in AI, compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles and how to assess a health app’s compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
