Description

About this Webinar

What happens when a practitioner is unable to continue to work? This webinar looks at a range of considerations that practitioners might want to consider in terms of planning for business contingency planing. It’s critically important that practitioners have their legal arrangements in order so they can facilitate a seamless handover in the event of a significant contingency event.

This training includes consideration of:

  • Practice contingency plans (to ensure continuity of care in a contingency event);
  • Power of Attorney (in the event you are unable to exercise capacity);
  •
  • Buy/sell agreements (for business partners that cover what happens in a contingency event
  • Business Contingency Plans generally.

This is an introductory lesson to some of the concepts that ought to be considered by practitioners. This will be particularly useful to sole practitioners or very small practices that are considering these issues for the first time.
